About Ana

Ana Page is a graduate of OUSD schools, engaged parent and volunteer, former educator, non-profit director, and our Trustee on the OUSD School Board working to deliver on behalf of our students and community.

After attending OUSD schools and graduating from Villa Park High School, Ana stayed connected to her roots, living and working locally and raising her own children in the district. She currently volunteers with her children’s elementary school. In addition to fighting for our kids on the OUSD School Board, Ana is an active trustee who visits campuses and classrooms throughout the district, meets regularly with parents and neighborhood leaders, and is committed to fiscal responsibility.

Previously serving as a preschool teacher, Ana is an expert in early childhood education and currently pursuing a PhD in education. Ana knows the importance of parent involvement in our schools and has worked to increase literacy rates and bridge the information gap access for low-income parents and students with learning difficulties. Ana believes parents are a student’s first and most influential teachers and as an OUSD parent, Ana has worked to engage other parents, community members, and educators, ensuring a high quality education for every child.

Currently the Board President, Ana has worked to bring civility, substance, and a “students-first” approach to meetings. Through her leadership, the district has put school counselors at every elementary school, increased career technical education programs, implemented after school enrichment programs, and developed a plan to fix aging school facilities. She has prioritized student mental health and wellness and closing achievement gaps and is passionate about the power of public education and meeting the needs of our diverse community
